Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 3/4 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 1/2 c. cooked, chopped chicken
    1 (10 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    3 hard-cooked, chopped eggs
    2 Pillsbury dairy pie crusts
    tuna or beef (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add chicken broth; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
    Stir in salt and pepper.
    Stir in chicken, vegetables and eggs.
    Spoon chicken mixture into a lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Cut pastry into 3/4-inch wide strips.
    Arrange strips across top of casserole.
    Brush pastry with egg.
    Bake pie at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serves 6 to 8.
