Shoe Peg Corn Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large (16 oz.) can tiny green peas
1 small (15 oz.) can Shoe Peg corn
1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
1 large sweet onion (purple)
4 stalks celery
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
dash of garlic salt
Preparation

Drain and set aside the first 3 ingredients.
Dice and add onion and celery.
Mix together and bring to a boil the remaining ingredients.
Cool and pour over mixed vegies and refrigerate. Make at least 1 or 2 days ahead so it will marinate.
(Diamonds have \"Kountry Kist\" \"Kitchen Cut\" green beans cut on an angle that would look pretty, but any cut green beans will be fine.)
