Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition.
    Add lemon juice and almond extract; beat well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients.
    Bake in waxed paper lined 5 x 10-inch loaf pan at 325\u00b0 for 70 minutes.
