Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head lettuce
2 to 4 ribs celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 pkg. frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
shredded cheese
bacon bits (optional)
Preparation

In 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish or baking pan, layer lettuce, celery, onion and green pepper.
Layer of frozen peas is added last.
Combine mayonnaise and sugar in small bowl.
Spread over layers.
Top with shredded Cheddar and bacon bits.
Refrigerate before serving.
