Ingredients

3 1/2 c. blackberries
3/4 c. white vinegar
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cardamon
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1 bay leaf
1/8 tsp. mace
Preparation

Wash and pick over blackberries; set aside.
In a small enamel or stainless steel saucepan, add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Remove bay leaf.
