Pasta And Fagioli - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water, chicken stock or broth
1 (16 oz.) can white beans, preferably cannellini
1/2 lb. ditalini or elbow macaroni
Preparation

In a saucepan, fry garlic gently in oil until golden brown; do not overcook!
Add tomato sauce and water (or stock or broth) and simmer 10 minutes.
Add beans.
Stir gently to combine and simmer 10 minutes.
Cook ditalini or pasta al dente (firm but not mushy). Drain and add to bean mixture.
Stir gently to combine; if too thick, add some water in which the pasta was cooked.
