Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    1 c. nut meats
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1 egg
Preparation
    Dissolve soda in pulp.
    Cream shortening and sugar; add nuts and raisins to flour.
    Beat egg and add to pulp.
    Add dry ingredients; stir.
    Drop on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
