Quick Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans kidney beans
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of black pepper
Preparation

In 2-quart saucepan, melt the margarine and brown the ground beef, stirring to break up the meat as it cooks.
Add the onions and cloves.
Pour off excess fat.
Add the beans, tomato soup, water, chili powder, vinegar, salt and pepper.
Stir well.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, covered.
Stir occasionally.
Serve with corn bread or rice.
Makes about 6 servings.
