Easy Beef And Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion chopped (about 1/2 c.)
    1 pkg. hamburger helper mix for beef noodle
    6 c. water
    1 1/2 teas. chopped basil or 1/2 teas. dried
    1/8 teas. black pepper
    2 cloves crushed garlic
    1 can (4 oz.) mushroom pieces, drained
    2 Tbsp. dry red wine if desired
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Cook beef and onion in 4 qt. dutch oven, stirring frequently until beef is brown.
    Drain off fat.
    Add next 5 ingredients and heat to boiling stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add noodles, mushrooms and wine.
    Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
    Stir in parsley.
    Makes 8 servings.
