Raisin Puff Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. water
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0. Cook the raisins in the water over medium heat until the water is absorbed and set aside to cool. Cream the margarine, sugar and eggs. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt and add to the creamed mixture. Add the cooled raisins and vanilla and mix well. Shape into walnut size balls. Roll each one in granulated sugar. Bake on a greased baking sheet for about 15 minutes. Makes approximately 8 dozen cookies.
