Ingredients

1/2 c. whole berry cranberry sauce
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, sliced strawberries (in syrup)
2 tsp. orange peel, finely grated
4 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
8 (1-inch thick) slices day old French bread
3 Tbsp. butter
confectioners sugar
Preparation

In 1-quart saucepan, melt cranberry sauce over low heat, stirring constantly.
Mix in strawberries and orange peel.
Heat just to boiling and set aside.
