Red Velvet Cake Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco (solid)
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook milk and flour until a thick paste; add pinch of salt and set aside to cool.
    Cream sugar, Crisco and margarine until fluffy.
    Add flour mixture and vanilla.
    Beat at high until ready for spreading.
    After icing cake, place cake in refrigerator (covered) until served.
