Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. light corn syrup
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla or other flavoring
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup and water; stir to mix good.
Cook to 242\u00b0 or very firm ball stage.
Pour slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites while beating constantly.
Flavor and beat until cool and stiff enough to stand.
