Quick Fresh Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. sugar, divided
    1 c. milk
    4 c. fresh peaches
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Combine flour, 1 cup sugar and milk; mix well and pour over butter.
    Do not stir. Combine peaches and remaining 1 cup sugar in a saucepan.
    Bring to boil and pour over batter; do not stir.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until browned as desired.
