Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 3 1/2 lb. chuck roast
    5 medium potatoes
    5 carrots
    3 sticks celery
    1 bell pepper
    1 large onion
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Cut meat into small cubes (1/2 inch).
    Put into a large pot with
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil.\tAdd salt and pepper to taste. Start
    this
    cooking
    as
    you prepare vegetables.
    Cut vegetables into
    small
    pieces.
    When they are ready, add the tomato sauce to the meat.
    Add vegetables and enough water to cover everything well.
    Stir, cover and cook about 2 hours at a low boil.
    Stir occasionally.
