Cream Of Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes
    1 large onion
    1 1/2 qt. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tall can evaporated milk
    chopped parsley (to garnish)
Preparation
    Peel and dice potatoes.
    Peel and cut onion fine.
    Cook potato and onion in salt water until tender.
    Drain, reserving the liquid (there should be 3 cups).
    Add milk to the liquid.
    Mash the vegetables and add to the liquid.
    Reheat.
    Serve piping hot garnished with chopped parsley.
    Serves 6.
