Applejacks(Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening or butter
1 egg
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped apples, unpeeled

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Beat in egg.
Add dry ingredients and blend well.
Stir in apples.
