Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. tomatoes, peeled, cored and cut up
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 qt. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    4 or 5 hot peppers, ground up
    1 qt. onions, ground up
Preparation
    Put ingredients in large pan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cook on low 1 to 3 hours until thick.
    Stir often.
    Put in hot jars.
