Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/4 c. boiling water over 1 c. oats (let stand 20 minutes)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Sift together flour, cinnamon, soda and salt.
    Add sugar, eggs and butter.
    Fold in oats.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
