Raisin-Studded Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/4 c. cooked rice or 1 slice bread, diced
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly, using only about 3/4 of the tomato sauce.
    Pack into a greased 3 1/2 x 7 1/4-inch loaf pan.
    Spread remaining sauce on top of loaf.
    Cook in slow oven at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
