Old Fashioned Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. raisins (light and dark)
    1 1/2 c. candied cherries
    1 1/2 c. pineapple
    1 c. citron
    1/2 c. candied orange peel
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. almonds
    1 c. walnuts
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    6 eggs, unbeaten
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Prepare the first 8 ingredients and sift enough flour over this to coat good (not from the 2 cups).
    Then mix your cake batter in a separate bowl, using the rest of the ingredients together.
    Add this to the fruit mixture, mixing well.
    Bake in a tube pan at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours or until done.
