Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken
    1 tsp. salt
    1 onion, minced
    1 c. chicken broth
    3 potatoes, diced
    1 carrot, diced
    1 can cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup
    1 stick butter
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cover chicken with water.
    Add salt and onion to water; boil gently until tender.
    Remove from bone and cut into bite size pieces.
    Place chicken in casserole.
    Combine chicken broth, potatoes and carrot and pour over chicken.
    Spread can of soup over this.
    In a bowl, mix together 1 stick butter, flour and milk.
    Pour mixture over chicken.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until brown.
