Creole Skillet Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
1 (31 oz.) can pork and beans
1 Tbsp. Creole mustard
1/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2/3 c. catsup
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. Creole seasoning (or to taste)
Preparation

Heat oil and butter in skillet. Saute onions and bell pepper until soft but not brown. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Stir to mix well. Cover and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring as needed.
