Lemon Sponge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
1/3 c. lemon juice
rind of 1 lemon
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 1/4 c. milk
1/3 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat egg yolks until thick.
Add lemon.
Mix sugar, flour and salt; add to egg mixture.
Stir in melted butter and milk.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Put in 10-inch pie pan.
Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
