Broccoli-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. quick cooking rice
    5 slices bacon, chopped
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli cuts, thawed and drained
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 (16 oz.) jar cheese spread or cheese spread with jalapeno peppers
Preparation
    Prepare rice according to package; omit salt.
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Drain on paper towel, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings.
    Add onions to reserved drippings.
    Cook until tender. Crumble bacon; reserve 1/3 for garnish.
