Higbees Queen Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. cake flour
    2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add egg.
    Beat well.
    Add dry ingredients sifted together alternately with milk.
    Work quickly, mixing only enough to blend.
    Turn into greased muffin tin.
    Bake 20 minutes at 450\u00b0.
