Favorite Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 medium onion, minced
1/4 c. cracker crumbs
2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and mustard in a small bowl.
Set aside.
Combine egg, onion, cracker crumbs, ground beef, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
Add 1/2 of the tomato mixture and blend thoroughly.
Shape into an oval loaf pan and place in an oblong micro-proof baking dish.
Make a depression in top of loaf.
Pour remaining tomato sauce over top of meat.
Cook, uncovered, on Medium for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is cooked.
Cover meat and let stand about 10 minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.
