Beef Stroganoff "Modified" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef round steak
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, chopped
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. beef bouillon granules (low sodium if available)
1/2 c. evaporated skim milk
Preparation

Remove meat fat.
Slice into thin strips.
Combine meat with flour and paprika.
Heat oil in large skillet or Dutch oven.
Over high heat, brown beef, onion, garlic, pepper and mushrooms, about 5 minutes.
Stir in water and beef bouillon.
Stir to dissolve. Cook over low heat about 10 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup evaporated skim milk.
Stir to combine and heat another 3 to 5 minutes.
Serve over hot noodles or rice.
Makes 6 servings.
