Refrigerator Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. All-Bran
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. honey
    1/2 c. plus 1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. All-Bran
    3 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over 1 cup of bran; add raisins, stir and set aside.
    In large bowl cream sugar, honey and shortening.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Blend in buttermilk.
    Add bran and raisin mixture.
    Add the 2 cups bran and mix.
    Sift flour with soda and salt.
    Add to bran mixture and mix well.
    Cover tightly and store in refrigerator.
    This will keep for 6 weeks.
