Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. whole wheat flour
2 c. white flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
1 1/2 c. orange juice
2 eggs
2 c. cranberries, coarsely chopped
1 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Combine orange rind, orange juice and eggs.
Add to dry ingredients and mix just to moisten.
Fold in berries, nuts and raisins.
Turn into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool. Slices better the next day.
