Ingredients

1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tsp. cocoa
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. pecans, chopped or walnuts (optional)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
Preparation

Sift together 3 times the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cocoa.
In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, vanilla and milk.
Blend the liquid mixture with the dry mixture and add the nuts.
Pour into a square greased baking dish.
