Cheese Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
3/4 to 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
dash of pepper
Preparation

In 3-quart saucepan (glass casserole if cooking in microwave), cook onion in margarine until tender.
Add flour and milk.
Stir over medium heat until mixture thickens.
Add cream cheese and Velveeta cheese slowly, stirring until cheese is melted.
Add remaining ingredients.
Heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Makes 5 (1 to 1 1/2 cup) servings.
