Beef Stew With Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef, cubed
    2 c. hot water
    1/2 c. diced carrots
    1/2 c. diced potatoes
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Roll meat in flour; brown in hot fat.
    Add hot water; cook slowly 1 1/2 hours.
    Add vegetables and seasonings; cook for 30 minutes.
    Drop dumplings from spoon; cover tightly and steam without lifting cover for 12 to 15 minutes.
