Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Mix all ingredients as given.
