Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground round
1/2 c. half and half
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. beef bouillon broth
1/2 c. Burgundy or cooking wine
Preparation

Lightly mix beef, half and half, onion, salt and pepper. Shape into oval patties.
Heat butter, add mushrooms and cook until lightly browned.
Remove from pan.
Add about 2 tablespoons more butter to skillet.
Add patties and cook until brown on both sides.
Remove patties.
Add flour to drippings.
(If necessary, add more butter.)
Cook until thickened, add beef broth and cooking wine.
Continue cooking until thick.
Return patties and mushrooms to gravy, simmer until meat has finished cooking.
