Tea Cakes #1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/3 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Cream together\tshortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Add baking\tsoda
    (dissolved in vinegar) and salt.\tAdd flour a little at
    a
    time\tto make a stiff batter.
    Roll thin and\tcut. Place
    on
    a greased cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
