Ingredients

1 c. sourdough starter
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
1/4 c. melted shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake, pour onto a well-greased griddle.
Yields 10 to 12 pancakes.
