Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. water
    5 c. sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    2 or more tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cook until bubbly.
    Remove from heat and add 3 drops yellow food coloring.
    Slice apples and peel in quart jar.
    Pour in mixture and seal 20 minutes in water bath.
