Williamsburg Sally Lunn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm milk
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
3 beaten eggs
1 qt. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Put yeast in warm milk.
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add beaten eggs and mix well with flour to which salt has been added. Alternate with milk and yeast.
Let rise 2 hours in warm place, then beat well.
Pour into well-buttered tube cake pan.
Let rise again 1 hour before baking in moderate oven at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
