Toasted Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large boiler of water (2 or 3 qt.)
    1/4 c. salt
    1 to 2 qt. pecan halves
Preparation
    Bring water to a rolling boil.
    Add salt and pecans. Stir and boil for 5 minutes. Take off stove and pour into
    a colander. Drain well. Do not rinse.
    Put on a cookie sheet and place into oven set at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Keep stirred. Reduce oven to 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir often.
