Beet Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. chopped boiled beets
    1 pt. chopped cabbage
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    pinch of red pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped celery
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a 3-quart pan.
    Heat through.
    When boiling, pour into 3 sterilized jars to within 1/2 inch of top. Put caps on.
    Screw bands firmly tight.
    Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
