Ingredients

2/3 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Preparation

Blend Crisco with sugar and eggs.
Beat until fluffy.
Add lemon. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk.
Blend well. Bake in 3 layer pans 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool cake.
