Low-Fat Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 uncooked lasagna noodles
    1 lb. extra lean ground beef
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. basil leaves
    1 tsp. oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp. fennel seed
    1/2 tsp. ground anise
    3 (8 oz.) cans no-salt tomato sauce
    1 c. low-fat cottage cheese
    2 egg whites
    1 c. shredded low-fat Mozzarella cheese
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles as directed and set aside.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Brown ground beef, onions and garlic.
    Drain. Stir in parsley, salt, basil, oregano, fennel seed, anise and tomato sauce. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
