Oatmeal-Honey Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. melted margarine
Preparation

Stir together brown sugar, honey, vanilla and margarine.
Add oatmeal and pecans.
Stir very well.
Press into a jelly roll pan. Bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0 to 450\u00b0.
Score lightly with silver knife as soon as removed from oven.
Let cool slightly before cutting. Cool almost completely before taking from pan.
I cut into 72 small squares.
You may use any kind of nuts, chopped.
