"Squasage" Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 medium squash
    1 egg
    10 to 12 saltine crackers
    1/2 to 1 lb. sausage to taste
    2 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. dried onion
    cheese
Preparation
    Wash, slice and cook squash until it breaks apart easily with a fork.
    Drain.
    Add beaten egg, onion, crumbled crackers, margarine and sausage which has been broken in pieces, fried and drained.
    Mix well.
    Top with Velveeta slices or 2/3 cup shredded Cheddar.
    Bake in regular oven at 350\u00b0 until bubbly.
    Do not cover.
