Sour Cream Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes (thaw 2 hours)
    1/2 c. soft butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 (8 oz.) cartons sour cream
    2 c. crumbled cornflakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except cornflakes and 1/4 cup butter. Mix cornflakes and melted 1/4 cup butter.
    Sprinkle on top of potato mixture in a 13 x 9-inch dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
