Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 c. pecan halves
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
Preparation
    Combine eggs, corn syrup, salt, vanilla, sugar and melted butter in a bowl; mix well, then stir in pecan halves.
    Pour mixture into unbaked pastry shell.
    Bake in preheated hot oven (400\u00b0) for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
    Continue to bake for about 35 minutes more, or until knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean.
