Tasty Cabbage Pickle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. cabbage, chopped coarse
2 green tomatoes, chopped
10 to 12 medium onions, chopped
2 red peppers, chopped
2 lb. white or brown sugar
1/2 c. salt
3 pt. vinegar
2 oz. white mustard seed
1/2 oz. celery seed
1/2 oz. turmeric powder
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and boil 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Seal while hot in sterilized jars.
Makes about 13 to 15 pints.
