Cranberry Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 (8 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 c. chopped almonds
powdered sugar
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 9-inch tube pan.
Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl, beat butter.
When creamy, add sugar, 1/4 cup at a time.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Mix in almond extract.
Stir in dry ingredients, about a fourth at a time, alternating with sour cream.
Spoon half the batter into the pan.
Add half the cranberry sauce.
Add remaining batter and cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake for 55 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes, then turn cake out of pan.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
