Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage (large head)
    10 medium green tomatoes
    6 medium onions
    3 hot peppers
    6 sweet peppers
    1 red sweet pepper
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 or 3 Tbsp. turmeric
    sugar
    vinegar
    water
Preparation
    Next morning, mix celery seed and mustard seed.
    Mix in turmeric until light yellow.
    Mix 1 cup sugar to vinegar and 1/2 quart water to 1 quart vinegar.
    Add a little more water, if needed, to cover stuff while cooking.
    Cook at medium heat until cabbage is done.
    Can while hot.
